I was out in the city with my mom today, and to amuse myself while driving, I brought my PSP with me and plugged it in the radio. It has been a long time since I’ve downloaded songs and I decided to look for new tunes tonight. I started to feel sorry for myself because I couldn’t get enough of my usual favorites. Lastfm.com saved my ass in “recruiting” new bands to fill in my list.

Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs!

So I immediately plugged in “HelloGoodbye” in lastFM since this was my all time favorite. I’m still inlove with Here In Your Arms after two years which BTW I knew the lyrics JUST NOW. For the longest time I had been mumbling the chorus, it never crossed my mind to search the lyrics so that I could “sing” confidently along with the track. LOL.

I love the way HelloGoodbye comes in a package. Especially with Here In your Arms and Touchdown Turnaround, it gives a happy beat with sweet and perhaps cheezy lines. It works well with roadtrips and with after-a-tiring-day-at-school tambay with friends. I usally do my dorky dance if given the chance that nobody else but my closest friends are around the area. HAHA. There’s something about “Everywhere and everytime, I am yours and you are mine!” and “And I saww it on your keyboard” that makes me wanna jump and make a fool out of myself.

Anyway, before further endorsing HelloGoodbye’s songs and lyrics…. got anything to recommend? :>

In less than two weeks my summer would be over. And yes, like the other kids would say, it went pretty boring. Nothing special kept me busy, no hobby to happily waste my time with. Nada. I remember talking to my cousin about being so excited for summer since I have a long list of things to do, but it seems like not even one was accomplished. Although its not too late to do some of it, but I have to work faster.

  • I need a movie date so that I can watch Star Trek. I was suppose to go with my cousins, but they went out last week when I had my practice.
  • I need to drive around Manila in preparation for First term. My brother’s on OJT so I’ll be going to school alone, thus giving me the privilege to actually DRIVE to school! However, I’m not that familiar with the roads and directions, so I have to know before school. :|
  • I have to fix my room.
  • I have to start with my Mom’s company website.
  • I have to finish the book I’m reading.
  • I have to swim with some friends here at home.
  • I have to have a small sleepover with my cousins.
  • I have to have a monopoly marathon.
  • I have to…

Yea, there’s still a long list to go. So many things to do, in so LITTLE TIME. haha. The truth is, even though there’s so many things to do, I still find myself BORED to death. hmm… What could possibly get me going? :P

How’s your summer so far?

Happy “Panatag” Day

First of all, I would like to greet all the mommies in the world a Happy “Panatag” Day, as Lactum calls it.

There was nothing really special about this day aside from it being Mother’s Day and my cousin’s 16th birthday. We had a little get together with a few of our family relatives to celebrate the two mentioned occasions and to congratulate our other cousin who just passed the board exams. He will hopefully and is expected to be a teacher on June 7. Hurray for family!

Mother’s Day is really just another second Sunday of May but it was made special because whoever started to call it a day to honor our Mothers. Whoever started this “trend” must be given credit for allowing restaurant to be full and flowers and chocolates to be sold out. KUDOS to you dude, you make people richer every second Sunday of May. LOL.

Speaking of gifts… We gave or Mom an exercise thingy, an AB ROCKET. It’s suppose to help you do some sit ups or crunches. She has been talking about how she’s going to start her diet and work out this summer but of course, it never happened. And she and my Dad had been wanting to buy this thing, since mom really likes it. blahblhalblah. You get the point. But i find it really funny to get her this suppose to be abs-making-machine. Usually kids give their mommies cards, flowers, chocolates, etc etc. But no, we give her ab rocket. On her birthday, we gave her a step ladder. Since she often stands on chairs to get something from the top cabinet.

It is funny, and sometimes inappropriate, but its practical. And our mom, or dad sometimes, appreciates it. That’s all that matters. So, have you been giving your parents funny gifts too? :P

Hello World!

…and all the people who live in it. *waves*

It sucks to feel obligated to write a welcome post where you have to explain yourself why you’re blogging, what made you register that name as your blog title, and perhaps a brief history of you in the blogging community. But who cares? Maybe it IS a good way to jumpstart your creative juices. So let me fill you in with the details.

I’ve moved from my previous blog because I want to and I am “The Poopstar” because I want to. I’m here blogging again because there’s an up coming iblog5 and I’ve been inspired to make a new blog AND because I want to. Everything is pretty much random, even more random than telling you I’m eating Cheetos right now.

So maybe this is IT for me, the spark that shall ignite my urge to continue blogging AGAIN, for the Nth time. Hopefully I’ll be able to commit to this blog and have fun doing it.

Toodles :3
